4th ESPLAT Webinar

Dear ESPLAT members and friends,

the 4th ESPLAT webinar will take place on Friday, April 17th at 13:00 CET.

The workshop by Michael Gruber at the ESPLAT conference in Münster has shown that many of us can profit from exchange on how bachelor and master theses are handled at psychology departments in different countries.

Accordingly, the webinar has the title:

What setting do psychology programs provide for the thesis?  Weighing structure, embeddedness and independence of student research

The webinar aims at presenting and discussing different approaches to making thesis writing a productive part of the study program. To open the discussion, serving as host, Michael will provide a problem description and organizational approaches based on work in Umeå, followed by co-host Robert Gaschler and Christine Blech providing an overview of variants developed and evaluated in Hagen. We plan for an overall duration of 60-80 min.
