Candidate details

Application Portfolio

We would advise applicants to take a holistic approach to describing their practice in this portfolio, rather than focusing on a single case-study or example. Part 2 specifically focuses on internationalisation of teaching practice whereas parts 1, and 3-5 focus on your wider practice in general (although you may wish to draw upon relevant aspects related to internationalisation in these sections too). Each part has some suggestions of areas that you may wish to discuss: these should be considered as examples only to help you understand what we are looking to see in each section. There is no expectation that an application will discuss all the examples stated, and you may well have other examples that you feel are relevant.

The word limits for each part are maximum limits, lower word counts are acceptable so long as breadth and depth of practice is demonstrated. You are encouraged to use citations to relevant publications where applicable – these should be listed at the end of each section and do not count towards the word limit.
